samhexum Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 The Natasha Lyonne-led crime dramedy will not return to the streamer for a third season. However, according to Deadline, which broke the cancellation news, Lyonne and series creator Rian Johnson are shopping the show to other platforms... with "Game of Thrones" alum Peter Dinklage eyed to play Charlie Cale, instead of Lyonne, if the series returns. + jeezopete 1
+ jeezopete Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 I thoroughly enjoyed the first season but barely made it through the second so I'm OK with it not returning for a third. On the other hand, my TV provider recently gave me HBO Max for free, so I just binged all three seasons of Somebody Somewhere and that's a show I'll miss for sure. + EVdude and thomas 2
d.anders Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 I thought Season 1 was sort of clever, and I enjoy Natasha's quirkiness. But Season 2 was so bad, I couldn't get beyond Ep 3. This is the first I'm hearing about the cancellation. Not at all surprised.
