Hide Me VPN Doesn't Work On Rent.Men

a few others have mentioned the recent slight change at the free hideme proxy site lately which many of us use to read the text of Rentmen reviews....there used to always be an additional box below "proxy location" with about five check-off questions (stuff like 'enable encryption?' and other slightly techie inquiries, which usually required all to be checked)....that box is now gone and I'm unable to use this VPN now to get at Rentmen text reviews.....ends up going thru an endless "are you 18?" inquiry, then closes....yes, I'm using "rentmen.eu" and setting the country to Germany......

this used to be nearly hassle-free and now it's gone......I don't want to download a "free" five-day trial......yes, I realize you get what you pay for......

anybody have a quickie alternative or a way to get hideme to work?......thanks

EDIT:....I found the other recent thread on this topic (would've added to that one if I knew where it was) and, based on advice there, tried hideme in Chrome rather than my usual Firefox......success!......remember to use the rentmen.eu version of the reviews URL....the country doesn't seem to matter anymore....... you may have to click thru the "are you 18?" page a couple or three times.......warnings in the other thread about privacy at Chrome were ignored since I gave up on internet privacy years ago
