I have heard that there are several brothels in Vegas that are gay orientated. Has anyone ever been to one and if so, what are the best ones in Vegas. I know prostitution is legal in Vegas but I didn't think that it was the same for males and females. Am I wrong on this one? Does the law differ in Nevada for males and females or is it the same? If it is the same, there should be some places there. Right?

Just a clarification ... prostitution is NOT legal in Las Vegas.

 

It is legal in Nevada except in cities over (whatever size) in population. So the brothels in Vegas and Reno are all 20 feet outside city limits.

 

Or that's my understanding. It may be across the county line or something. Don't remember specifics, other than it's definitely not legal in Vegas and Reno.

 

I've never heard of any male brothels there. Sorry.

Actually prostitution is illegal in Clark County (i.e., Las Vegas) other parts of the Nevada (i.e., Reno) that have large populations. As I understand it, legal prostitution is restricted only to those counties with relatively small populations. It's also restricted to brothels in the areas where it is allowed. The brothels that I'm aware aware are straight and cater to men. There are a number of restrictions on what you can and cannot do -- i.e., condoms are mandatory (even for oral sex) and anal sex is against the rules.

 

The vice squad is very active in Las Vegas and conducts prostitution related stings all the time. One of the participant's to Quinte's chat -- you can find the transcript by clicking on "chat" at the top left of the screen -- reported that at least one qay escort was caught up in such a sting. Adult video news (http://avn.com) is reporting that a straight porn actress was convicted on prostitution related charges after getting caught in a sting where a couple of members of the vice squad posed as porno producers. x(

Anal sex is not permitted. Well, I guess that helps to clarify things for me. I guess that means that vaginal sex is permitted. It is a shame that one hole is allowed and the other one is excluded. Maybe if I wish hard enough and dream long enough that I will be able to pretend that the hole I actually want is a vagina. I tried often as a teenager and all that thinking really just made warts grow on my hands.

As mentioned earlier, prostitution is illegal in clark (las vegas) and washoe (reno) counties. And to my knowlege there are no gay brothels in Nevada. I don't know about what sex acts are or are not alowed in brothels, but the sodomy law was repealed in Nevada about 6 years ago.
