Actually my stomach clenched with every crash in that video. It was very disturbing.

Years ago when I lived near Seattle there was unexpected snow.  On an S-curve outside Seattle a similar occurrence happened. I was in Seattle and was trying to get home. This was about 2 in the morning. I think I had met with an ...ahem... 'friend' earlier in the evening. I may have stayed in town to eat dinner afterwards. By the time I was ready to leave, I had no idea if it had been cleared up yet as all the radio station just kept repeating the same story. I took an alternate way home using backroads that I never would have known how to do without using GPS. I think I ended up on part of the original Pacific Coast Highway that had been decommissioned when I-5 was built. It probably took me 2 hours to get the 35 miles home due to the unfamiliar terrain and  snow and ice. I think I also ended up getting a ticket from a red light camera after inadvertently going thru an intersection-due to the stop and go I was having to do from the snow and ice. Thank gosh Texas  outlawed them around 2020 or 2021, or I'd have an  ongoing collection of tickets from them-not on purpose-just happens from time to time.

A chain reaction crash

Was every single person on that road texting and driving ? It appears that many of them were oblivious to the very obvious pile of vehicles in the middle of the road.

It was very icy. They may not have been able to stop once they saw it.
