What to do in SF on 29th Jun

Hi

What do folks usually do during pride parade happening on Sun June 29th in SF? Is it mostly like hang out beside the main road watch folks pass by? or there are some fun activities to find or watch?

Yes, you can hang out somewhere on Market Street to watch the parade.

You can walk around the festival in the Civic Center area.  I don't know who is going to be on the main stage; it's usually a mix of people talking about specific issues and some musical performances.  

The bars in SoMa are typically busy starting mid-afternoon.

I'm sure there are specific parties happening, but I'm so old I'm checked out of it all.
