São Paulo or Rio Brazil Spas/Masseurs?

Anyone ever been or have any recommendations? Planning a trip and heard good things

Assuming you don’t mean traditional massage of which there are endless options. 

I have been a few times in São Paulo. Two examples appended, both walkable from the same Blue Line & Green Line Metro subway station. There may still be two others but I’m not looking them up: Gold Therapy and Xtudio Lotus. “Abel” runs Spazio and may be inclined to promote himself for the booking. 

Other than a shower in the private room in which you get massage there are no conventional sauna or spa features. IMHO most foreign visitors gravitate towards the clubs with spa elements, bar & snacks, mid-evening drag and stripper shows, greater trade selection, and greater number of private rooms where massage is code for non-massage. But there may be massage option non-erotic with a table. 

A place called Wild Thermas Club seems to be a hybrid of the two types; haven’t been. However, there would not be escorts “formally” circulating with whom you would go through a room attendant for key and room fee on tab. The erotic pay for play may be restricted to massage booking, otherwise negotiated with attendees that may be open to some cash if not there specifically for that reason. 

In contrast the massage places require more effort to book and determine if the massagista you want is actually available. Their base earnings are low once the facility takes it cut. As per usual, money speaks volumes. I do believe all have floor mattresses subbing for traditional massage tables. They are clean and pleasant spaces. They tend to whisk you in and out as though discretion is especially important in terms of agenda visibility. You will be directed to the room and discouraged from otherwise being visible. 

If you are a frequent visitor to Brazil you may hit it off with a select few agreeable to meeting off site. A favourite of mine subsequently discovered that he can earn 10-fold his spa earnings per appointment overseas but his English fluency was good and that will have facilitated his ease of integration.

I’ve never gotten a wax because I’m not hairy and I’m too self-conscious. But I’d love to try it—no massage, just a full wax. Is this place good for that? I’ve seen some places in SP, but they’re mostly women-only. I’m not sure how I feel about that. It’s not a priority, but if it’s convenient, I’d like to get a wax in the daytime. in my SP Pride adventure

omg, I've seen some GP and some gogo dancers in the Spaziomasculino lol

Maybe i can get a wax and then test it? i am checking it out.

I don’t go to these places for the grooming services so I don’t know about quality but I think there is a divide between massage, in which escort cross-pollination is the trend, and things like waxing where I imagine it’s a trained aesthetician, unless of course a wick is inserted and anything is possible regarding credentials. I also haven’t received the massages I signed up for because the non-massage was better.

Can you do that? I mean, waxing and immediately initiating physical interactions. You said you are not hairy, perhaps you could.

I am very hairy, and I have never waxed. I imagine I could not follow your plans. Specially after watching this:

Good point, @José Soplanucas. While I’m not hairy at all, there are a few areas that could benefit from some smoothing. Also, I didn’t know that you could have programs there. This is going to be an interesting discovery. 
waiting patiently for my Delta flight to take off 

I wish I can repot in both forums with one post. But since the other one is more Brazilian heavy.

It’s great to know that Brazil is a country that keeps on giving. What a wonderful place!

 

Maybe I can go to the “I need waxing” place and take it from there.

 

Also, this is the first time I’ve seen this place posted. Maybe I missed it? Which is weird since I check every single place in both Rio and São Paulo.

 

Let’s see what the Pride attracts. I’ve already seen some new faces in Garotolocaland and the other one.
