Has anyone had any experience with this provider?

Had been communicating with him over a period of two days and had finally set up a meeting with the price and services all agreed upon.

Then, at the last minute, he mentioned that he would require a deposit before arrival - something never brought up before.  When I indicated that I had already had cash prepared and that it would need to be payment upon arrival, he ghosted me.
