I just wanna know what their version of Tex-Mex tastes like.

I was at Yellow Rose near Union Square (NYC) the other day and even though the owners claim Texas roots, the food was atrocious.

Much like many regional cuisines, you get away from that region and everything goes to hell.

God knows I love NY, but…..

NYC BBQ….sucks
NYC Tex-Mex….sucks
NYC Southern….sucks
NYC Philly Cheesesteak…sucks

Regional means regional. You can’t export it. You have to go and experience it in situ.
