Typical rates in Madrid/Spain

I’m traveling to Madrid and talking to a couple of guys from RM, hoping to meet them. Does anyone have recent experience hiring in Madrid? What’s the average rate? On the last post on this topic from 2021-22 folks mentioned €200 but that could be outdated.

€200 is too expensive for Madrid. I would say, on average, €100-€150 per hour. I speak out of experience.

I would only be willing to pay more than €150 in Madrid if the escort is either 1) famous in the adult industry (pornstar, OnlyFans) or 2) a regular recruit of mine.

Don't use RentMen when in Spain, providers who advertise there charge more for a standard quality service compared to other websites. Go instead for local ad specialized sites such as Telechapero or destacamos or CitaPasion.

I would say that the answer to your question is not specific to Madrid but is actually relevant to the entire escorting business.

Based on my experience, my observation is that price is usually an unreliable indicator of quality when it comes to sex work and escorting. As a client, I have already had several below-average experiences delivered by (very) expensive escorts (typically OF "celebs") while I have also had outstanding experiences performed by cheaper-than-average escorts.
As a client, you should rather look for the right personality type. The right personality to hire is the one who strives to do his best to satisfy you, regardless whether he is paid 50€ or 400€ per hour. How can you identify these? word-of-mouth, reviews, sometimes even short calls with escorts before meeting them. Your duty as a client is then to reward providers who delivered better than usual, for instance with extra tipping.

Reverting back to the topic, I disqualify escorts who quote excessive rates (in Madrid, it would be above 150€ per hour) right from the start; however I am ready to be extra generous with the guy who would go the extra mile to make me have a good time. All labor deserves reward.
But don't get me wrong: I could afford to hire expensive service providers if I was willing to. I just don't want to because it would be a waste of money, more likely than not.

I tend to find chaperos in Madrid better behaved and more reliable than the ones you would find in Paris or Milan. Just my humble opinion.

I live in NYC and will be visiting Madrid in the coming weeks. Anybody know the average hourly rate of rent men escorts in the big Spanish cities? I know here in NYC, the minimum has become about $400 per hr. Would it be lower in Spain? Also I’ve never hired in Europe before. I worry escorts in Spain will upcharge me more than their usual rate, knowing I’m an American tourist. Does this happen/has anyone experienced this when hiring in Europe as a tourist?

I've heard some Spanish escorts will quote a higher rate if you say you found them on Rentmen or if they see you're texting them (through WhatsApp) from a North American number (+1 country code). Though this is only hearsay, I've not met any guy in person who says he does this. 

In any case, 150 euro is the most prevalent going rate, with most prices falling somewhere between 100 and 200 euro for 1 hour.

Higher price does not guarantee better quality during the encounter. 

Best way to search for escorts is to use hunqz, but you'll first have to register a profile on romeo.com (the non-professional side) in order to be able to contact or even view the providers on Hunqz. The advice given earlier here by Tmonti96 is still completely applicable, nothing has changed.
