Lake Steam Baths in Denver

Has anyone been here recently and had a massage? If so, I’d love your recommendation: even if it was fully legit but just a great MT. Going to DEN soon and I’ve read that this place is kinda mixed but tends more towards legit and less towards playing.

I went to Lake Steam Baths twice in 2018.  It was an enjoyable day of sauna, baths, body scrub, and massage.  There was no hankey pankey.  Both times I opted for a budy scrub and massage.  The body scrub is done out in the open where everyone can see.  The massage is done in a private room.  It's a very legit place.  Don't go expecting any sexual play, from either the employees or fellow patrons.  But do go expecting to enjoy a relaxing steam spa fully nude for the day.  Times fill up fast for the body scrub, so call ahead if you can to reserve a time if that interests you (I highly recommend the body scrub).

I’ve gotten massages over the years there. Despite what others have said, I’ve never gotten a fully legit massage there. Varying levels, but yeah. Massage has always been done fully nude. Dm if you have questions.

I go to Lake steam often. I was thinking of booking a massage with either Jesus or Mauricio. Anyone have experience with either? Is it a standard, professional massage, or do either of them add any erotic touch?

The remodel is decent. I didn't see it before, since I'm new to the area. But the open area is always clean and seems freshly painted, maybe even tiled. The tub is great. The steam room (where the fun happens) has a faulty door that doesn't close all the way, always open a crack. And the dry sauna has new plastic benches instead of wood

I've gotten the body scrub there before. You're nude when face down, but they put a towel over your genital area when you're face up.

it can be awkward because the rest of the clientele in the bathhouse usually sit close by to watch you get scrubbed.

no extras. And the guy kept me covered (kind of--it was a small towel, just enough to cover my crack (when face down) and genitalia (when face up).

I had a couple massages there a few years ago. Therapist’s name was Steve I’m pretty sure. The massage was great and there was definitely nothing unprofessional about it. I was totally naked for it but considering that’s how the rest of the facility is used it didn’t strike me as odd at all. I’m visiting again later this year and I don’t know if Steve still works there, so I would love info/recommendations for the rest of the massage staff from anybody who has experience.

Lake Steam is a legit, historic steam and sauna in Denver. Although some people try and test the limits as to what they are truly about (detoxing and health), those who disrespect the place are quickly shown the door. It's a shame that some men, and not just self identifying gay men, try to turn the place into something sleazy. Massages are legit as well. If you're looking for sex, there is Pleasure's a block away. Go there first and then relax at LS. But don't go there and ruin it for the rest of us life long customers.
