Mannix Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 I just saw a local ad from a male therapist in Dallas touting a Table Thai Massage. Has anyone ever had a Thai Massage? What is that???
urbanfetish Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Thai massage is a very popular form of massage. Basically, it involves pressure points and stretching but there’s more to it.

There is no single explanation of what Thai massage entails as there are several variations and philosophies but I would say the major difference is the amount of pain you're going to experience during the massage is directly related to the increase in relief you will experience after. I have been an athlete for many years so I prefer deep tissue techniques and digging into knots. Thai massage professionals often use their forearms, knees and elbows to dig in. Not just their hands. So it's a very DEEP massage and not the superficial feel-good rub you get from Swedish-Style massage (which is what the majority of people offer )or at least pretend to offer.
