samhexum Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 I've been a little more short of breath than usual, but they sent me home with no stent... minimal blockage. Lots of good-looking orderlies & male nurses. I knew things would turn out well when the wheelchair they used and the bed they put me in were named after my long-lost twin brother: STRYKER... he & I celebrated our 62nd Wednesday. + Pensant, marylander1940, + nycman and 6 others 2 3 4
samhexum Posted August 23, 2024 Author Posted August 23, 2024 AND... I believe they were shooting a gay porn movie this morning at Northshore Hospital in Manhasset with the actors dressed as orderlies and male nurses because otherwise there must be another hospital in a parallel universe that had some really ugly men working there this morning. pubic_assistance, + sync and + Pensant 3
paulsf Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 I just got home today after 2-1/2 weeks in hospital for double bypass surgery. Had plenty hot male nurses to help me thru. + Pensant, thomas and samhexum 2 1

samhexum Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 The doctor's office called with the results of the Holter monitor I wore for a week; there were a couple of extra beats during the week, but nothing my doctor was concerned about. My primary care physician happens to be a cardiologist so that works out well. + Pensant and + sync 1 1
samhexum Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 (edited) Apparently, extensive bruising is not uncommon and can take several months to heal. I have a huge purple blotch at the base of my belly flab and another by my groin. I had it checked out by my PCP today and there is no problem other than my rolls of fat now clashing with some of my clothing. Edited September 6, 2024 by samhexum for absolutely NO @%!*ING reason at all! + sync 1

The nurse who always does the intake at my PCP is Jeff's & my long-lost triplet.
