foxy Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 The press reviews are pretty stellar. I’m looking forward to seeing it in a few days. thomas and + WilliamM 2
foxy Posted April 26, 2024 Author Posted April 26, 2024 It’s a brilliant piece of theater. Hard to believe none of the actors are professional musicians. They are now. It’s also quite funny and the pauses in conversation are as riveting as the dialogue. I think this will be the standout when the Tony’s are handed out. Highly recommended. + RyanDean Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 I saw it at Playwrights (and have yet to see it on Broadway) but, yes, it is an extraordinary piece of theatre. And I would agree that it's by far the frontrunner for the Best Play Tony and is also a real contender for Best Original Score Marc in Calif 1
