Remembering my journalist friend Christopher Allen who died in S Sudan

Chris went  to Ukraine on Spring Break and became a freelance journalist.

His parents were scared here in Philadelphia.

 Ukraine was full of journalists,  so, he went to South Sudan.

We recently found out what happened.

Christopher  broke   important news  in  Ukraine because  he had been there for a while. South Sudan was much more difficult. He only spent a few days In South Sudan.  He spoke to his parents in Philadelphia the night before he was billed
