Guest
What is the marketing advantage of posting so much travel? As a client, I don’t care if a provider is world-traveled, and it creates the appearance that this gentleman is simply too busy and unavailable. If it’s to drum up interest in other markets, I don’t see that either because he’s not in any one place long enough to suggest he’d have time to meet. Is it to show he’s in demand? Better time spent generating reviews. I understand featuring occasional travel, but otherwise it’s meaningless and perhaps hurting his business. As a professional service provider (of a different kind), I never communicate travel, never use out of office auto-reply, and generally don’t want clients to know, because I want to always be available to them, even if it means I need to schedule time for them later. But I wish him well.
