Duane “Keffe D” Davis, one of the last living witnesses to the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur, was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon.

27 years is a very long time to wait for justice, should that happen to come. 

I am intrigued by the charges laid, "... one count of murder with a deadly weapon..."   Wouldn't any weapon be considered 'deadly' if it was used to commit a murder?  Would it be a different charge if a non-deadly weapon was used, or if a weapon wasn't used at all - like pushing someone off a building?

It's pretty common knowledge that the real killer is long since dead. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.

The DA described Davis as the mastermind of the shooting and his nephew as the actual shooter. The new evidence is his book.

This news served to remind me of what a gorgeous-looking young man Tupac was. We may never know the full story, even if this indictment leads to conviction.
