ICTJOCK
Have been to the Grand Canyon twice in my life, the last being in 2019 with a great week there full of hiking and exploration...... my favorite kind of vacation, especially to a National Park. The first was when I was 5 and while I remember it, my parents weren't about to let me do any exploring, which I was into even then! Never have been to the north Rim of the Canyon. I saw the connection to the northeast of the south rim, but not enough time. I've heard a variety of things about it. Anyone here been there and how does it fare for trails and hiking? + azdr0710
+ azdr0710
One-tenth the number of South Rim visitors, better views, much less frantic, higher elevation than the South......shall I go on??!! The only reason the South Rim got as big as it is is because it was much closer to original transcon transportation routes in the late 1800s. Much appreciated! Looking forward to checking it out in person! + azdr0710
