In case this situation crops up again for me in the future, I figure it would be useful to have this knowledge on whether providers on Rentmen can be added (they can be removed without a visit via Buddy List) as buddies without adding another profile visit?

Yes, I know I can turn off the visit notifications (I prefer to leave them on, and then if I happen across a bad fit, in that case I will delete the visit record as quickly as I can).I also know I can clear out the visit history, but my example below of what usually happens will explain why that won't always work.

What usually happens: I'll find an escort, visit their profile, and then message them for more info or whatever. I'll close their profile and resume browsing for a minute or two. Then the escort responds. At that point, I think to myself I probably should have added them as a buddy. But because he already must have seen my visit, clearing it out and visiting again (new notification) in order to add him as a buddy would just be more bizarre than helpful. I try to avoid visiting more than one time just because it seems kind of obsessive or something like that.If it's been a long time since the last visit or I just have to visit  in order to buddy or to reread the profile, then so be it.

I'm pretty technical and would be comfortable sending raw authenticated HTTP POST requests to whatever RM endpoint if it exists, as well as comfortable modifying JS to send AJAX requests if that's how they do it.

I was also kind of hoping there was some UI functionality I was missing. It would be simple to add the functionality to buddy someone within a messenger chat window with that person (you can search for them and create a new messenger chat without actually viewing the profile).
