I took down a thread about a client in Austin who is allegedly stalking and spreading false rumors about a couple of escorts.

 

The reason I removed it is because the escorts published the guy's email address.

 

Let's not stoop to that, okay? No matter how awful a person is.

 

Discretion & Privacy are very important to me and most people here.

 

Actually, nothing had ever been said on this website about these escorts doing anything wrong. For the guys to publish the accusations really works against them, because no one knew. Now there is a cloud of suspicion.

we understand why u took the thread off; his screenname just happened to be his email address as well; we just wanted to warn other escorts to be careful when working with him, and if we didnt list his screenname, they wouldnt know who to stay away from; and this should not work against us, nor create any suspicion; we just wanted to show how this guy works and how he made up lies about us; there are numerous escorts that had brought up this story when we talked to them, and many of these escorts are reviewed on this site; thus, we wanted to clarify to everyone that we are honorable and honest guys;

This site is for escorts to be reviewed. They publish their email address, phone, cell or pager numbers and in many cases their faces because this is how they earn money - selling their time for companionship and conversation.

 

People who hire them demand discretion. An escort may complain about a bad "Patron" here as long as his name, phone number, email address, physical address, phone and cell numbers, pager or face are NOT listed.

 

Besides, I thought you guys had you own secret place where you could blacklist bad clients.

 

On the other hand, I have the ability to create a private conference here that could be only open to escorts where that sort of thing could be discussed. I do not know how that would go over with everyone else here.

The Black list is no longer (well at least I can't find it anymore.) I'm seriously thinking about starting one though. The idea of sharing information and helping to make your life and our proclivities more compatible is something I think would add value to this site.

Of course, by the same token, I can create a Forum where only people who have high ratings are allowed to participate and escorts would not be allowed, or the escorts or their agencies who have been self-promoting would be denied access.

Hooboy, this site has some very helpful qualities. I also appreciate your offer of providing a private conference for escorts. But there really is a double standard on this site. It protects the privacy and reputation of clients but not of escorts. The policy is that it's ok to trash escorts but not clients, especially in the forums. That's not fair.

 

While we're on the subject of ethics, reproducing escorts' photos without permission is a copyright violation. I've done the research: under federal law the statutory damages per violation is between $500 and $10,000. (A class-action lawsuit would be very profitable!) Violating a copyright is just another way of stealing. Is it honest to steal photos from escorts?

 

It's wonderful to rationalize that escorts benefit from the publicity and that photos can be removed upon request. But copyright violations are still stealing.

 

Sean, I love your idea of starting a website reviewing clients. I suggest you limit it to a blacklist of sleazy clients and flakes who repeatedly call escorts seeking free phone sex. If you need to divide the work, I'll gladly do my share.

 

I think sleazy clients and flakes hurt honest clients by driving up prices.

Contrary to what you allege, it is NOT ok to trash an escort here. Don't you realize the pains I go through to protect the escort? Escorts all over the country can attest to the fact that I am extremely cautious when it comes to publishing a negative review. I go to great lengths at my own expense to make sure that what is going up is not going to destroy a guys career -- UNLESS HE IS A RIP-OFF ARTIST. Then he needs to be exposed. My intention was to maybe add something to this site (or start one of my own) to expose the "bad" clients i.e. The demanding, disrespectful, unclean,(showing up a bottom) and not having douched! I believe this forum originates in Britain but obviously is global in scope. I don't know how you gain access to this; it is selective and through invitation only.

 

SO...for those clients who are unscrupulous in their dealings with escorts and have ripped them off in the past, are dangerous, whatever, somewhere there's a red flag to your name. Can any other escorts confirm the existance of such a forum?
