"I'll pass", he informed me with a dismissive and disdainful tone. Today, as Encompass Health, it is trading at $71.00+; the historical "high" being $127. Be mindful that an escort "hire" is, as with the market, "speculation", and a "good tip" should never be dismissed nonchalantly or with derisision as the proverbial "last laugh" or the loss of the "best damn lay of a lifetime" might be with you.. And I can give you hundreds of counterexamples, stock tips written by so-called "experts" at my firm.

Pump and dumps, in a different context but with the same overall effect.

Indeed! But any "tip" that I give is based on a careful assessment of the how and the why and the where to for of the thing, not "heresay". I do give "pie in the sky" tips. Brings to mind a pump and dump stock of some years ago, a major stockholder was on social media every day declaring, "The dividend will be paid.". Of course, he had a " planned sale" on the table and "dumped" at a good price with a handsome profit just before it was announced that the dividend wasn't in the cards and the stock tanked.
