I’m heading to New Orleans for Southern Decadence—66 years old and a first-timer. Looking for advice—what to do; what not to do; where to go; where not to go.  Looking for the collective wisdom of the group!  Thanks.

I was thinking about attending for the first time this year. Using it as an opportunity to explore to gay bars of NOLA as well.

Just don’t know what to expect really…the pictures tell quite a story.
