So I’ve been looking for a legit therapeutic massage therapist in Austin for a minute now since my former guy moved to Cali, and prefer stronger dudes who can get in there and do some serious deep tissue. Been periodically checking listings and tried a couple but was pretty disappointed since they both went for the rub and tug after about 15 minutes of halfassed smearing of drugstore lotion on my back, which doesn’t do much for the compound knots in my shoulders and back (not opposed to that but not where my heads been at for various reasons). I know the lines are blurred these days between escorting and massage postings, so in an effort to avoid booking with folks claiming they do therapeutic massage only to go straight for a handy, I’ve started cross-checking against RM to see if they’re just posting on the masseur side to get more bookings (again nothing wrong with sex work and I think posting in both may make it more accessible to people unsure of their sexuality and help destigmatize it, so props).

In any event I came across a profile for a dude in Austin/San Antonio that I’m curious if anyone has ever encountered:

Good looking guy. He posts as therapeutic and doesn’t have a RM profile, and no reviews or feedback here. But there are a few red flags that came up when I googled the username, which he uses for insta and TikTok. I won’t post them here so as to not doxx the dude even though it’s right there in his masseur profile, but that exact username hits on a Reddit post that’s a little concerning:

Apparently he and his “production company” raised concerns at USC for ambushing women for TikTok content (and they weren’t students there). Reading the comments they were apparently doing it for more than a year or two. Also, he seems to be pretty obviously straight if you can stomach his “music” videos (read the thread for the name of their YouTube channel).

Apologies for the long comment but this seems pretty sus for me. With assholes out there trying to generate outrage and “engagement” by any means necessary, combined with the current climate in Texas, I just wanted to pass this along. He may be an upstanding dude and a 5-star therapeutic massage therapist, but given that thread I’d personally steer clear. I’d hate to see someone’s desire for bodywork from an attractive dude end up being a honeypot for cringe TikTok “prank” videos — not saying that’s what’s going on here but given the comments on that Reddit thread, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Anyone ever reached out to him or had an experience?

Also, if you know any legit bodywork therapists, I’d love a referral.

24 and 8 years of experience.  Otherwise, if he is real, I move to San Antonio, just delicious!

Maybe he was a Junior Miss Masseur (Masseuse!)

Naha ton of reasons to ship the spa dude:

— house calls / not having to deal with traffic

— unless it’s a resort or 5 star hotel quality can be shit

— supporting providers / folks in the community directly instead of giving a spa 75% of the funds

— didn’t say I don’t mind some eye candy or an erotic vibe; I just don’t want the whole smear-some-lotion-on-your-back then try to give you a handy after 30 minutes so they can collect the cash then gtfo as quickly as possible.

I know this topic is old but J-Biggie’s intuition was correct. I saw MatadorAndrew a few years ago in Dallas. May have been one of my first massage experiences without this forum. He was under a different name at that time but I remember the face and the eyes. This isn’t a review but more of warning.
It was one of the oddest experiences. He claimed to use his whole body which he did, dirty feet included, on my body and head! Very uncomfortable and a big turnoff. He made it very clear MT was not to happen unless I asked for permission. Then he stayed and talked badly about women even after I dressed. Was very relieved when he was finally out the door.

Rule #3: Be very careful with masseurs whose pix suggest that they think of themselves as models. Proceed only if you see positive reviews here.

Rule #2: When things seem fishy, RUN and don't look back. Why would anyone list therapeutic only and post sexy semi-nude pix? Inconsistent or weird age, physical, and other stats and other info are serious warning signs that should not be ignored.

Rule #1: Use your big head, don't let that other one take over.
