Billy Brandt at the Gaiety

i noticed that NYObserver listed Billy Brandt as one of the dancers this week. Any one have any experience with him in private shows or seen him dance at the Gaiety. Is it worth a special trip to NYC to see and meet him.

Well I am totally infatuated with this hot young man, but from what I have heard he is lacking in the personality department.

 

I was chatting with NYObserver just this morning about him at the Gaiety, and he said that Billy is a great dancer, but NO eye contact with the audienece and even has his own bodyguard with him (whats up with that?).

 

He also stated that he would be surprised if he lasts the week. I read that Billy bombed at "In Mans Country" in Chicago and cancelled Nob Hill back in February. He sounds like a real reluctant porn star to me. But his performances seem so HOT and energtic on screen. Maybe he can only peform with men of his caliber in the looks dept. He charges 500 bucks an hour for escorting.

 

But even after all this I am thinking of taking Friday off from work and driving up to see him.

 

I have run into him around where I live outside of Philly and e-mailed him..he is very aloof even in e-mails.

 

Sometimes a fantasy is better left a fantasy.

Don't know him and he's not my type but, if you weren't around before the 'Old Board' crashed, there was a very lengthy thread inquiring about him where MANY guys posted less than flattering accounts of their experiences with Mr. Brandt. There was not one positive posting.

I want to know what the bodyguard does. Does he screen prospective clients? Does he stand outside of the hotel room door during the session? Is he in the room during the session guarding the "body". Does he make sure that the client only looks, but does not touch? Maybe the bodyguard wipes the sweat from Billy Brandt's brow during a sesion?

 

I wonder what Billy charges for a quick trip to his hotel room in NYC?

 

I will be in New York on business on Friday, and I will also be at the Gaiety, but I will be hooking up with hot Canadians. Austin is great, and there will be other hot Canadians there by Friday.

Billy is really a beautiful guy and if I had $500 I would gladly pay him to watch one of his movies with him and listen to him dissect it scene by scene.

At least Tom Cruise can act. And Paul Newman looks better as he ages AND can act. Billy is an entertainer, but does he really entertain? According to the reviews he only does on videos and how long will that last?

 

What will Billy Brandt's legacy be? I was a straight guy that took off my clothes for gay guys and I tolerated them for a few hours a day and took their money while despising them all the time.

 

And what will the outcome be? Who knows? I really wish him well. He's beautiful and I hope he has nothing but great success. But when I hear the stories about him and you know who, I have to wonder if he realizes how fleeting it can be.

Really, Hooboy, you're too modest. Your rhetorical musings certainly do deserve an answer!

 

But first some questions. What was the point of telling us that you'd spend $500 to watch Billy Brandt give an analysis of one of his videos? (I mean, as in, you actually don't want to have sex with him?) And when you extoll his beauty, are you talking about what you know from photographs & videos--or have you met this guy? And, finally, in your 'legacy' line, are you implying that Billy is straight?

 

I happened to be at the first show at the Gaiety on Monday, and if Billy hadn't been introduced by his full name, I'd never have guessed he was a porn starlet of some renown.(Only porn stars are so presented chez Denise.) What I saw was a skinny blondined twink in a vaguely SM (or at least pseudomacho) outfit involving a vest & chaps, I think--doing an odd, not very dancy dance consisting of lots of forward-falls, & other non-very-impressive acrobatic moves, all designed to keep you from actually SEEING him. He seemed to have his eyes averted, cast down, or just plain shut the entire time he 'danced'. Not exactly a born performer, I'd say.

 

The second number proved even more embarrassing, when the poor kid eventually unveiled a small, unattractive and decidedly limp dick. (I can't tell you if he's managed hard-ons since. This was, as I say, the very first show--Monday at 1:30. But I CAN tell you that it wouldn't have made him any more appealing to me.) Despite a small claque, BB didn't go over very well with that first public. And later, in the green room, the only wheeling & dealing going on was from Billy himself, working his cell-phone under the sullen eye of the bodyguard. (Oddly enough, BB kept identifying himself as 'Jerry' to the potential johns he was calling.) BTW, I'll risk dispelling any steamy fantasies readers may have had about this 'bodyguard' by stating outright that he is no hunk; in fact, he is so far from being a macho bruiser that I took him for BB's manager or CPA. Or a really pissed off sugar daddy.

 

But back to Billy. He may be the world's greatest bottom in those waxed fruit videos Falcon puts out, but in life he's a total dud. That anyone would pay $500 to be with him is (to me) mind-boggling. But then you, Hobboy, paid $700 for a night of love with Aaron Lawrence!

So go figure.

 

When I was leaving, I overheard BB discussing his career with the dj/announcer at the back, and in both voice & manner he revealed himself to be as garden-variety gay as you can get. Is he supposed to be straight???

Well I took the day off from work and went up to see Billy at the Gaiety.

 

All the boys were very hot including Billy and the show (1:30) was sorta crowded..really have no comparison.

 

I went back to the lounge after the shows and was chatted up by Pierre who was very nice and sexy...offered me a private show, but I was pressed for time, and have been warned about these Gaiety Boys anyway - but I digress.

 

Billy's show was just fine as I tend to get a bit bored with all the dancing anyway. He does seem to avert his eyes, and keep them closed, but maybe he is just shy. But in his defense I looked around me in the audience and I wanted to shut my eyes too. There are a LOT of OLD men that go there. I dont mean middle age either. I mean OLD.

 

I finally had the nerve to go up to Billy while he was playing pinball alone. He was very , VERY nice and didnt make it seem like I was bothering him at all. We chatted for like 20 mins and he remembered my e-mails to him that I saw him around the area and said it would be no problem to say hello to him. He also gave me an autographed picture of himself. Granted he does talk about himself a bit, and I was OK with it. I told him I would be in touch with him as I think I will hire him down here in Philly rather than a rush job up there.

 

Again I found him to be very friendly and approachable and I am glad I did approach him to talk to him.

I just returned from a Friday night at the Gaiety, and was shocked by how horrible Billy Brandt was. I saw him in the lounge before hand, and I would never have guessed him to be a porn star.

 

He is short and skinny, and bordered on sknaky looking. He had brassy blonde hair, or a color not found in nature. He has new tatoos on his forearms, which were kind of ratty looking.

 

His show sucked. He danced to horribly offense heavy metal, and he gyrated more than danced. He did not have a hard-on for his second number, and he kept hiding his little wee-wee with his hand.

 

He tries to chat me up in the lounge,but I was not interested at all in going with him, so I never asked his price. He was completely queeney when he spoke. It was also pretty clear that he was on some sort of drugs.

 

I agree with NYObserver, that this is a pretty sad little boy.

 

That being said, the rest of the Gaiety lineup was great this weekend. Two of my all-time favorites were on the line up, Austin and Christian. And there were five or six other hot Canadian boys there this week (Paulo, Cameron, Pierre, Tristan). The Canadians are always professional and gentlemanly like, and great fun. So don't waste your time or money on an already washe up porn "star" like Billy Brandt, when the wonderful, drug-free, passionate and fun Canadians are there.

 

I would be interested to hear from anyoone who did go with Billy Brandt. Any good reviews?

a hard on for the saturday nite show. I did not approach him because the thought of $500 for an hour did not seem worth it. i wasn't in the negotiating mood....but I would gladly spend $200.

OMG, scary! NYO does such a great job of making the Gaiety sound so like fun and that, combined with all the Billy Brandt talk, made me forget how much I've hated being there in the past. I ventured out last night to the Gaiety and was pleased to find that I had a better time this time (they say the memory is the first thing to go). Some really cute guys, friendly and gayer (if that's a word) than I remember them. BUT, Ms. Brandt!!! Unbelievable. Is anyone postively sure that is him?? Perhaps he's holed up in some rehab center and they've sent out a poor decoy. Damn, where do I find his photographer??? Despite all the negative things said about him, I almost felt sorry for the little gnome. It must be tough to pretend that you're hot when you're not. But, with his eyes tightly closed and his tiny dick held limply in his hands, Billy bravely went forward and attempted to entertain. If this is the future of escorting and porno films, God help us - and pass the saltpeter.

Did someone actually pay $500 for a private show from Brandt (who can't even get it up), never mind $200? And then they claim that they are thoroughly satisfied? How much shit will we allow escorts---in this particular case, Billy Brandt, a ?dancer from the Gaiety to throw at us before we say "ok, now let's see, do I really need this from an individual who has been trashed by MANY people.

We are told of all the "overhead" that an escort has and that supposedly justifies his exhorbitant fees. Well guess what? EVERYONE who is self employed has overhead. I don't believe "workouts at the gym" are any more exhorbitant for an escort than it is for all of us who do it on a daily basis for health reasons. Grooming expenses are standard for everyone, including the mailman. Yes, they do have ligitimate expenses, such as advertising, but most expenses they claim are expenses anyone has. $500?????. As long as there are suckers willing to dish it out, there will be hustlers charging it. I work hard for my money and I even find $200 alot of money. Someone charges $200, someone is willing to pay it and before long, EVERYONE charges $200....until someone decides they want more, etc. etc. etc. It now appears that NOBODY in NYC or Boston, charges less than $200. Yea, I know, you get what you pay for......I believe that was the case when the price was $150.

Wow. What a shame about BB. I remember stumbling onto his web site and being totally absorbed with him. I would have kissed his feet and begged for the opportunity to have him use me - even for $500. But it seems the guy that is out there now bears no resemblance to the BB that appears on his website. Disappointing, to say the least.
