One of my fellow excersise-obsessed friends once said about leg routines: "If you don't throw up at least twice, it wasn't a very good 'leg day'". As an ACE certified personal trainer I can not in good conscience agree with his specifics, but the gist of what he is saying is accurate. Leg workouts, done properly, will floor you the next couple of days. It sucks, but it's true. I am not talking about working to injury, that's stupid. But a good leg routine naturally makes you the most fatigued (and sore) because that is the largest set of muscles that a body builder will workout at one time.

Here's my question: How in the hell do you muscle bottoms get topped, much less lift your legs off the ground, if it's not more than like 3 days since your last leg workout. I ask the receptionist here in the office to get coffee for me upstairs (i order pizza for her as a concilation) because I am too WHIPPED to make the trek. The very thought of then gettting that all-too-sore butt plowed the same day terrifies me. NO WAY. You guys got some special stretching excercises I don't know about?? -Hagen

Rod-I don't get it that often. In fact, I will probably never get it as often as I want it, but I digress...

It sounds to me that you are not stretching enough either in the morning, after a run, after working out, or after sex, all of which result in a build up of lactic acid in your muscles. I walk and stand a lot (living in New York you cannot help in) and I begin each day with twenty to thirty minutes of stretching. There's a great book from the New York City Ballet which is all stretches (2nd half is stretches, 1st half is pictures of their corps d'ballet).

Another route you may wish to consider is Pilates. It's expensive as hell but it is great. It's my favorite work out of all because I can concentrate on one muscle at a time. When I finish, I feel taller than my short 5'6" stature and I usually have a lot of energy. The sessions cost more than going to an escort however (at least here in NYC). You can do a lot of the stretches--once you learn them--with a stretch tube or those big rubber band things (name escapes me right now). A lot of gymnists on my squad swear by yoga but I can't get into it.

And yes, although it always gets a response, I ALWAYS stretch before AND after sex. Call me crazy, but I plan on keeping this body for a long time. I was fat...OBESE..as a child and worked to get it where it is now and want to keep it this way.

Good luck and stay limber. Your hips will thank you! (And all this time I thought you were a total top :* )

Regina, Thanks for the advice. Actually, I prefer "Absolute Top". It's less confining but conveys the same message. :-)

Is it true, however, leandream that you are an "Absolute Top", and that your legs are NEVER raised to meet the dawn? I am looking forward to meeting you someday!

As a masseur, I would recommend massage. If you get the right man for you, it will probably also include some range of motion excercises. (They're called that even though the masseur does all of the work other than trying to relax and let him have the leg.)

As a very recent ex-escort who was also not versatile, I know that this is simplistic, but there are other positions which do not necessitate quite as much leg lifting. Scissors from the side, lying on your tummy, etc.

Still, I wish that Teron or someone like him would please answer this question!
