Ski trips with the best evening activities?

If you were to go on a ski trip next year, where would you go with the best guys to meet up with apres ski? Europe? Utah? Mammoth, CA?

#1 is Aspen gay ski week.

In my experience, your only hope of meeting guys on a ski trip
is to go during that resorts "gay ski week". Even then, most 
guys are traveling in packs and can be hard to meet. Most ski
resorts are painfully 99% "straight" the rest of the time. 

And since gay ski week isn’t really my scene, I’ve relegated
my ski trips to the category of "non-gay things that I love to do".

Racking my brains, the only city I can think of that has gay bars and escorts which is near a ski area is Reno. When I lived in the Bay Area, I used to love to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Reno, which is 17 miles from the Mount Rose ski area. You won't have to pay outrageous hotel prices, either, and have all of the entertainment options of Reno at your disposal, including gay bars and escorts (and shows, of course).

I really like Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Technically not a big gay scene but there are some great restaurants and nightlife options. But the best thing is Strawberry Hot Springs which really does get pretty fun at night with lots of nude dudes and definitely some cruising. It's not exclusively gay but there is enough space where you can find a nice little nook. And you can stay there as well so it wouldn't be hard to bring a guy over. 

I think it's ideal for bringing an escort date. Ski during the day, stay in a cool mountain cabin and relax in the amazing hot springs.

The high French Alps are a lot fun: Val D’Isere and Tignes. The latter hosts a gay ski week every year. Otherwise find a handsome young ski bunny and take him along! Then any ski resort can be transformed into your very own gay paradise.
