Rentboy question

For those of you that use Rentboy, maybe you can help resolve something for me.

 

On Rentboy.com I have noticed a high number adds that have the 'webpage' button populated with the person's email address instead of an URL. I know people have included their email addresses in the text portion, so it appears Rentboy doesn't forbid posting email addresses in the clear.

 

Is there something confusing about the data entry form that would lend one to populate the 'webpage' button with their email address instead of a URL?

A lot of people don't know the difference between an email address and a URL.

It isn't confusing on the form but many guys want their contact info in as many places as possible especially if they don't have a website. I hate to say this but horny guys aren't terribly bright and you have to help them figure out how to get a hold of you as the big head isn't really doing the thinking when they contact you.
