Ten days ago, contacted an escort I found in this forum about meeting Monday afternoon, the 21st, in a downtown hotel. Said I would call after checking in with room number and so forth. He replied it might be difficult because of his day job but would try and let me know; said my age (70) was not a problem. I replied with my cell number and said I'd hang in the room and if he could make it great, if not maybe next time I'm in town. (Then sent e-mail gushing over his blog.) This escort often posts in this forum, is planning travel has an interesting blog, and seems quite busy. More than a week has passed so now I'm feeling insecure, a bit intimidated by this personality and maybe a bit neglected. Should I feel this way? Or should I just call on Monday as I said I would and see what happens? Should I e-mail a reminder of our contact on the weekend? (I don't want to come off as a weirdo.) I'm not very experienced as a client so am I worrying too much about nothing? I would really like some counsel.

It really depends on the escort but sometimes guys get a lot of email all at once and instead of starting from the oldest to the newest many just start responding to the most recent. I try to respond as promptly as possible but often find it's not possible.

 

Personally I respond to any and every email (usually with the same effort of input as they themselves addressed the message) because I know any response is better than NO response in most cases.

 

If you said you would call and have his number then go ahead and do so. But yes, an email reminded is always good. It's possible he has just not gotten to your message yet.

P.S. email like that reminded me of another situation that happened to me. Certain words stimulate my spam filter. You never know. If you have his phone, then call it since there is no spam filter there

Hi Carter! Tyger here, (Ty of portland Oregon) Additionally... there is the Holiday obligation factor, travel airtime, day job factor and basic daily living things like laundry and paying bills, charging the phone up and such... The email overload was mentioned. As an Escort and person with other career things going on I sometimes get pulled away from my cell or computer due to the reasons mentioned above. I do try to establish confirmation email both on my end and reply on it from a Client. If you have his contact info, a confirmation request would not be out of line. He may not have access to either cell or email or even both if in the air or on a train or out of cell range due to travel or some event. I've found that this comes up on both sides of the coin... sometimes I am unable to respond until relatively close to an appointment and sometimes clients are silent until a few hours before an appointment for similar reasons. Additionally, sometimes they have living situations that require them to have limited free time to talk on the phone or email because of where they work or what they do, a wife and children perhaps. Lots of factors come into play. It's not generally a personal thing... but more aften glitches in our fast paced and sometimes unpredictable lives. It would be much easier if the technology was up to par with our mobile needs and demands. It falls short sometimes though.
