A beautifully shot travelogue with the mix of Levy's wit and humor, along with his somewhat reluctance to see the world.

He's a bit of a curmudgeon, but a likable one.  A curious one.

I enjoyed the series, especially getting to see several places I've stayed at.

As with everything Apple TV+ does, it's a gorgeous show and a visual love-letter to wanderlust.

Meh, I liked it. Didn’t love it.

I find Levy a one trick pony and slightly annoying.

That said, I did enjoy the Finland episode and I’m still
looking for a sugar daddy to take me to the Amangiri.

All the rest….old Jewish guy goes to insanely expensive
hotels in moderately interesting places. Film crew uses
(more like abuses) extensive drone footage…rinse, repeat.

Something much better:

A younger Jewish comedy writer takes celebrities to various foodie places around Los Angeles and the rest of the world in https://www.pbs.org/show/ill-have-what-phil-having/ .

Rating: A+ (an episode with Martin Short and Allison Janney is my favorite)

Currently reborn as Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix:
