Hey all - I guess this question could be for clients as well, but I

primarily want to hear from escorts. I want to take a few trips

for "work" this summer and I am wondering where to go. I have done

this once or twice, and had VERY mixed experiences. Tried Los

Angeles - TONS of work, had to turn many away. Tried London -

couldn't get arrested.

 

I primarily want to have some adventures overseas. Or at least

across the border. So I was mainly thinking about Montreal,

Toronto, Paris, or Berlin. Or any other Euro city really. Any

advice? Ideally I want to be able to pay for the trip and make some

decent shopping money ... so where do I go?

(oh, and while this is mainly for escorts, if you are a client who

lives in one of those cities above and would like to see me - EMAIL

ME and tell me ... it will greatly influence my decision)

If you ever pass through Hotlanta, change flights, get re-routed down to our neck of the woods, get lost and misdirected to Dixie, let me know! You have recently been added to my "who-to-do" list even if this plain ole kuntry boy has to travel up to the big city to get it. Your most recent reviews have won me over. :9

Ok, it looks like my prospects will be MUCH stronger if I stick to

the good ole' US of A for now. So I am going to try and get to

WASHINGTON D.C., ATLANTA, CHICAGO, and maybe SAN FRANCISCO and

DALLAS this summer.

 

If you are a prospective client in one of those cities, shoot me an

email and I will let you know when I am coming to town. If you are

an escort who has visited those cities (or anyone else with info on

good hotels to stay at and such) I would love to hear from you.

 

Looking forward to meeting some men outside of NYC and LA!

If you do come to DC, count me in. I'm sure that you would do very well in DC since most of the escorts working here are either very twinky bottoms, are non-twinky bottoms or guys I wouldn't do for free. Jay - notice I said most escorts in the DC area.

 

It is true - DC is a city of bottoms and a super hung top like you would do well here.

It has been my experience that good-looking, athletically-built guys, whether top, bottom or versatile do quite well here. The best of the breed come to town fully booked and only take a cancellation list of the hopeful. I think the key is to get the posting up on hooboy's site and rentboy ASAP, get a hotel in a Metro accessible area, preferably around Dupont Circle (the epicenter of gay DC - it ain't called the fruit loop for nothing), and then be responsive to emails and telephone calls. It helps if you have a number of solid gold reviews on Hooboy's site too.

 

I recall once having a conversation with a visiting working boy, beautiful to behold, who was bitching about the lack of business in D.C. A few questions revealed he did not post his availability until a few days ahead of time, arrived a full day later than he had announced, did not begin looking for a hotel until after he had arrived, and had lost his cell phone. (Can you say flake? - still a model face and an ass like ... - but I digress) As is true in many big cities, people in D.C. are very over-scheduled, so you need to be able to make and keep appointments. Sure, you may get the impromptu meeting here or there, but most people need to be on the PDA well in advance. If it's a return trip, I also recommend you keep notes of the email or telephone numbers of the clients who were nice and on-time, so you could send them a little note or call in advance of your arrival. It is good to head to town knowing at minimum your base expenses are already covered. Additional profits come from newbies when they see your ad or posting.

 

In terms of planning, while many of us slog it out over the dog days of August, the city's population does go down as people flee on vacations to the beach, etc. As a result, business could be a bit slower then. On the other hand, hotel availability is probably better.

NO! DON'T tell me that you're a transplant, because I suspect that you are, based on this banality! So typical of that genre.

 

CLUE: Dupont Circle is no longer the "epicenter" of "gay" DC, and hasn't been for years, as the "breeders" and "tourists" have overwhelmed the area. "Fruit loop"??? So, does that comment mean that, in turn, I can ask how many "wire hangers" are tickling your prostate????

 

"Best of breed"? WTF??? Are you for real??? Is this the AMERICAN KENNEL SHOW???

 

Emails??? I do believe a travelling escort would have handled those LONG before hitting town! Phone??? Sorry, but SO many clients will NOT deal with phones!!!???

 

ALSO: Many, and I repeat, many clients in the DC area are interested in outcalls, so, for them, it doesn't matter what hotel the escort is staying at, but metro accessible would be better, I agree, as some travelling escorts, in my experience, are much more willing to do outcalls if it is a short, cheap, metro ride away to the client's home versus a long, expensive taxi trip fare.

Doesn't sound like a "flake" to me! Sounds like the average escort, new to the world of escorting and travelling for the first time. Your "branding" of him as a "flake" is really "condescending", kind of like your "whole" posting, at least imo!!!

Hey Richard ... after reading the response to your posting that was

just put up, I wanted to take a quick moment and THANK YOU for your

insight and for your coherently presented information. It was a big

help and will be partly responsible for my visit to D.C. next

month. No matter what other people may say, THIS was exactly the

kind of response I was looking for when I started this thread. You

rock!

 

I will keep you all posted and let you know when I finalize the

dates.
