Advance Bookings - How Far in Advance?

Being a highly organized person, I prefer to book escort appointments several weeks in advance. When my schedule is set in stone I will inquire regarding a specific date, time, and length of session. When my schedule allows me more flexibility I always try to work around the escorts own agenda if necessary.

 

However, some escorts just can’t seem to appreciate the fact that many persons like myself work within a highly regimented timetable that straightjackets us for weeks at a stretch. These guys prefer to schedule on the fly, often within timeframes of mere hours. This is not practical for me, especially given the paucity of the S/M escorts I always hire. (“Call me when you get in town.” Yeah! Only to find that you’re booked or not available.) When I arrive at a destination I want most emphatically to be assured of diversion.

 

Still many escorts seem uncomfortable when asked to look beyond a certain point in time. My previous escort of choice (now retired) was always amenable to booking far in advance. He did this not only for regular clients as myself, but also for many new clients as well. Hopefully, I will find someone who is just as professional and methodical. In the meantime, I have to deal with guys who haven’t a clue about the scheduling process.

 

My question: How far in advance do you guys prefer to book? Some escorts seem to equate advance booking with potential no-show. I realize that many escorts have demanding travel schedules of their own and often can’t plan beyond a certain time frame. Still when a guy just can’t seem to understand that the client has certain scheduling needs a red flag goes up for me regarding his overall reliability.

I think it's different for each escort...depending on how much in demand he is. Myself personally, I do not book hourly appointments for new clients more than a week in advance. Booking that far in advance does a disservice to my regular clients, who I know will show up, in my opinion. I have people in June call me to schedule for September for one hour, for example...I ask them to contact me closer to their visit. I can't count on the top of my head how many potential clients in the past contact me a month before to schedule something, and I accommodated them (and passed up regular clients in the interim)...then I get a call 30 min. before appointment time saying that their meeting ran late, plane delayed, drank too much wine at dinner, etc... Travel appointments are a different story. I actually prefer *more* notice if I'm flying somewhere. Being a realtor now also, that gives me a chance to get someone to cover my listings, etc... Just my opinion...each escort operates differently and had a different formula for his success (or failure!).

I should have mentioned that I always book at least a two-hour appointment, at times longer. I can understand the nuisance of having to deal with a lot of questionable potential new clients.

 

I run a business that also works on the appointment system. I go through the same frustrations that you mention. When you are dealing with the public it sometimes feels like it's a “full moon” 365 days a year! Because of that, I more than likely have MORE respect for an escort’s time than the average client. I just wish I could get the point more readily across!

 

There’s that old saying: “A broken appointment hurts three: you, another client, and me.” It certainly is true.

I personally much prefer booking well in advance. I have an insane schedule between escorting and all my nightlife work so it helps if I can get things set up early.

I have to say for myself I perfer advanced bookings be it I am seeing someone new or a regular. I don't have a crazy nightlife but I do have a day job where I am the mgr or what I like to call the babysitter. Advanced booking allow me to schedual myself at the day job acordenly and allows me to give the proper attention the clients deserves and that is my full 110% anything less would not be kosher imo.

Another good thing about booking in advance, is that it gives you time to gauge a person's personality, what they like and how they like it. I find that it's much more comfortable for me if I understand the rhythm of a guy's cadence, and he can feel comfortable about asking more detailed questions. Even if the appoinment is all about wham/bam and no chatting, it still feels better for me (and my clients say so as well) if there's some connection before or afterwards... even if it's just about asking about my classes and vice versa...

Personally I do like and recommend advance bookings. With that, I mean that I take last minute calls very seldom. However this means that I like to have the next month planned.

Considering the impredictable nature of my "other" profession, that might require me to fly to a different continent, or be totally busy in a 24/7 basis with little notice for three weeks, I have to always let clients know that my plans might change with little notice. If they are okay with that, then I proceed to book the appointment.

 

Some clients assume that I am just waiting for a better escorting offer... that I might want to see if I am hung over or not... if I happen to have the right tan that day... but unfortunately there is no other way in which I can do it.

 

Fortunately, in the year plus that I have been escorting, my other profession has only interfered with three sessions that were pre-booked. So, if you call me know asking for an appointment for next January, I can tell you honestly: I have no idea where I will be next January or what I might be doing.

 

As a wise man said before: there are as many answers to this question as there are escorts.

I can understand the advantages to both the client and the escort if appointments are booked far in advance.

 

My only problem with advance booking is that I have no way of knowing if I'll be horny at 8:30 p.m. on August 23rd!

IMHO..As a Client..We all do "Run" on very Different Clocks..BUT If a Guy is going to do "Anything for Me", he better do it in Under 2 weeks! personally i like to book way ahead...not living in nyc and coming from out of town i always have other plans and like to be able to schedule as part of my trip.....i ownly hire well documented and very discrete men..:7

Totally agree with Doggies. People who Travel quite a bit really donot have much of an option, with a full calendar. I myself donot like to set anything up more than 2 weeks Tops. I did this Year set an Appointment up, 2 mos in Advance for an Overnite! Only because the "Workin Guy" Rarely gets to NYC to Visit Friends..The Rate to bring him in, is way beyond my means, but visiting makes the Rate very doable! He also is very Doable! LOL .. But wait 2 mos in the future, I doubt it..:+

Being retired I prefer to travel around visiting escorts that I find interesting rather than bringing them to me. This gives me an opportunity to do some sightseeing in cities I haven't visited before or as in the case of New York cities I enjoy. Planning ahead also allows me to purchase cheaper air fares. Thus I definitely make appointments well in advance -- two months is not unusual for me.

Guys I need to tell your retirement isn't just great it's fantastic. During the last three years I have had the opportunity to spend time with some great escorts in San Francisco, San Diego, Austin, New Orleans, Tampa and New York.

In the future I plan to visit Vancouver in order to spend some time with Juan. However, if I do I will need to be confident that we have a definite arrangement before putting out the money for both hotel and air fare. I am also looking forward to visiting Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Miami in the future. Damn life is fun!!!!!
