Non Responsive Escorts Again! Why?

I know this has been discussed before, but I am not sure if the escorts have addressed the question.

 

Which is......

 

Why bother advertising if you are not going to respond to the people who contact you?

 

Is there an 'art' to contacting you that if not followed results in being ignored?

 

Or....

 

How can I get you to respond?

 

I know that there are times an escort is away, but if that's the case why not use your e-mail abilities to put an automatic response to the effect that you are away and when you will return.

 

It is very annoying to get all prepped to contact a specific escort - many times after their having been reviewed here - and be left hanging. If someone does not have the courtesy to respond it is a turn-off. If they are so successful that they don't need to hear from me (older and not poverty challenged!) why are they bothering with web-sites and ads?

 

Guys, realize that a little courtesy goes a very long way with everyone that is not excited by mis-treatment.

I answer all inquiries, even the obvious scams(foreign money orders), the one word messages("fist?"), the incredibly rude("you drink piss you faggot ####?"), and even the infamous Mr Green who Benjamin Nicholas has written about("nice juicy pussy"). That said, if clients avoided being rude, sounding shady, and/or wrote more than 2-3 words I'm pretty sure most escorts, and all good ones, would do their best to respond promptly. Of course, I'm not saying that you, or even most clients, do that(in fact, most of my clients have been nothing less than perfect gentlemen in their first communication). Occasionally we may fall get busy and fall behind, but I can't see a good escort purposely ignoring an inquiry from a potential client. If they can't be bothered to write you back, even just to say that they're too busy at the moment, then move on to someone else who values your time and businees.

I often wondered the same thing regarding auto email responses similiar to out of office messages business professionals have while on vacation.

 

The truly professional escorts figure these things out, and I think evidence of that increases the possibilities of having a good encounter.

Are you by chance using AOL? I am not sure what's with AOL, when I try to send emails to AOL accounts, I usually get bounced. It seems to me AOL will reject emails with URL links and certain words.

I suspect that any escorts that respond here tend to be the responsive type in general. Thus they would only bias the results away from that actually desired due to the very nature of the selection effect. However, their specuation is as interesting as anyone else's.

IMHO..Tampa I am sure is right, about the Guys who get involved on this site, being Professional and Responsive to ALL Emails. There unfortunately are the Escorts with a "NICE CLIENT BASE", who tend to have the attitude, will get back to him, when convenient for me! This has been answered in the past, a number of times. In short, there are a variety of reasons why you receive no response within a reasonable amount of time (two weeks to one month being well more than reasonable).

 

These include:

 

[li] fake ads;

[li] spam controls;

[li] problems in the escort's personal life; or

[li] lack of professionalism.

 

If you are responding to an escort with a recent review, from a recent experience, where the escort has additional reviews, if you really have your heart set on this particular guy (which has been the answer that some clients have given in the past when faced with the MOVE ON advice), then try again. But if you are trying to get a response from potentially old, out of date, or fake web site ads, or from a first time review of an escort with few reviews, then you just make be SOL.

This has long been a problem for me in LA, but now I am discovering the same situation in New York City. In the past few days, I have sent out several inquiries about getting together with escorts and not one has responded. I am talking about high-end escorts.

Maybe we are spoiling them by paying too much? If they were a little 'hungry' they might be a little more appreciative that it is us that are paying for their livlihood and start treating us with a bit more courtesy.

IMHO..What an Escort sets as a Rate, is his business actually. Some Negotiate after First Hour..Some Donot..There time being "So valuable" alot of the time is just in their own minds..LOL BUT that is another Topic.. It's funny, I hadn't thought of myself as 'frantic', but I guess that is a good description.

 

I have a big problem with any kind of rudeness.

 

My intent is never to blanket indict... If non-response is more prevalent in NYC it is probably because of the larger pool of people.

 

I must confess that I have had this problem in a lot of different locals though. I wonder if its my type fonts (!) lol
