Versatile Tops

Hey Guys,

 

A few weeks ago, in Europe, I was discusing things with an escort in France who said he was a versatile top, but then proceeded to say that he didn't mind being rimmed, but "no penetration, not even fingering or rubbing on the outside".

 

I thought versatile tops preferred to top,but were versatile .... So, I ask you: am I incorrect, and if so, precisely how are such tops really versatile? Or is there another term which would more accurately describe them?

Further evidence that it's always wise to check out what someone means when he uses a term or phrase that isn't specific. "Versatile" apparently means different things to different people. I've seen some guys where their versatility meant that they would do mutual oral but were strictly top when it came to anal. For other guys it means that they prefer to be on top when fucking, but they will bottom on occasion (right chemistry, right $$$, etc).

IMHO "Versatile" Definitely means DIFFERENT things to Different people. I always ask about "all my interests" You cannot take what an AD said or didn't say.. as that is the way the hookup will go.. Alot of things can change real fast also, if it is a First time.... appointment. Depending on which way the "Chemistry" goes also has alot to do with what some "Versatile" guys will do. Reminds me of several times during the 50s and 60s (my younger years) when the guy would insist he was straight and wouldn't suck or even touch your cock but would easily roll over and let you fuck his brains out. In this particular instance, the correct term to use to describe this "versatile" top escort of yours would be straight trade....

Seriously, though, he was either being deceptive or kind of clueless. Either is a possibility. The "trade" labels seem to fit, nonetheless.

 

Also, I agree with the post that check out what they mean in their advertising. I personally go at it from the other side: I ask for what I want to see if they are willing.
