More Vancouver nostalgia -- any news of Matt Vancouver?

The recent thread about Juan Bruno reminded me of another Vancouver hottie: Matt Vancouver.  Back when I really was new to this,  his posts -- alternately level-headed, intelligent, and raunchy -- put him high on my list.  I particularly remember his story of an encounter on a crowded underground train in London.  Does anyone know what's become of him?

I hadn't heard of Matt Vancouver for ages. It seems like those days of hot Canadian escorts and strippers in Vancouver is so very long gone. Vancouver like many cities elsewhere took a dive for the worst so I started focusing my attention on Montreal till the Village also took a bad turn. Some clubs are still there but it's not the Gay Village it once was. I've always wanted to try Toronto but haven't had the opportunity yet. I'm very partial to those hot Canadian boys and miss them! 🤪

The former gay villages in most cities in North America are shadows of their former selves. Le Village Gai in Montréal doesn’t seem that gay at all. Gay residents in most cities are much more widely dispersed than concentrated.

IIRC, Matt traveled a fair amount for business.  Certainly Juan B did. I suspect that even in the good old days, it wasn't easy to make a living as an escort working solely out of Vancouver.

As for Montreal,  while the clubs have declined, the number of escorts has skyrocketed (at least one bartender I know thinks these are linked phenomena).
