Curious about the scrub at HK Men Spa... Do they have a shower table? Tub? Seated or horizontal? And do you remain in the same room for the massage or switch rooms between? I've only been in the massage rooms and thought about mixing it up a little with a scrub...

Scrub is a horizontal shower table. It is an open adjoining room to your massage room.

What is the difference between a room downstairs and the standard rooms?

Downstairs is bigger, quieter (no one walking in hallway), and one of them has a shower. Allows for more intimacy 😉

Just got back from a massage/scrub combo with Nick and it was really great!  Can’t wait to go back for another session. Has anyone tried Joey?  He caught my eye as I was leaving and I’m thinking of booking him. DM any inside info please!

Quick shoutout to Nick at HK.

Really polite, attentive, and accommodating. The massage was honestly excellent. He had a great feel for pressure and was able to find some spots under my shoulder blades and around my hips that usually get missed. Pretty obvious he knows his technique and what he’s doing.

He definitely knew how to handle the rest of the experience too, but this time the massage was too good to interrupt. Overall, just a really pleasant experience.

Definitely a next time with Nick.

Had a walk in session with Nick at HKMS, 60 min scrub n massage. Session was on ground floor but it was quiet enough, walls are to the ceiling and doors to both the hall and adjoining shower room.

scrub was very gentle, I think they used a soap first, a light abrasive lotion (salt/sugar maybe?) and something else I’m not sure what at the end before getting rinsed off. Novel to me, an enjoyable experience being lathered up in down.

massage was great, Nick used forearms strokes for the hamstrings, wasn’t afraid to use his elbows on my glutes on knots and really stretched the IT bands in my hips. He also got that long band of the traps that ride the sides of the spine really well. Feet got glancing attention  but I wasn’t there for it so moot point. All in all, quite a solid session, will def be back
