Bobby, no it would not be tacky for you to claim your FF miles.

 

I think it would be tacky of the client to not make certain you were credited with the miles you fly. The only person who can get mileage credit on a purchase is the ticketed person. God knows I would have a lot more miles credited to my name otherwise. :-)

NOT at all. When I buy a ticket for an escort I suggest it or if it's one I know well, I will put it in when I buy it since I have it--and certainly would have no reason to care if he did on his own--it's no detriment to me so why not?

I dont think its tacky, Hell I do it unless they use there miles and I cant. I always ask my client to get whatever is cheeper in flights and what not but if they can swing my airline all the better, but I dont sweat it.

I have had this "problem", and a few years ago, I simply changed my name legally .

95% of clients are fine, but a small proportion can stalk you or even worse. Unless you do a lot of these jobs, you couldn't appreciate the potential difficulties.
