How do escorts recieve e-mail from rentboy?Does it take a while for them to forward it?

Rentboy forwards mail to whatever email address the escort provides. It's my impression that the forwarding is pretty much instantaneous, since I've had guys contact me minutes after sending them a message through Rentboy.

 

If he's not getting back to you, most likely he either isn't checking email or hasn't chosen to respond yet.

I've had this problem too.

 

Some posting boards HOLD the email messages of guys who fall behind in paying for their posting. Kind of like holding the messages hostage to encourage prompt payment. But if the guy can't connect with his clients, how can he get the money to pay for his ad? Also guys sometimes change internet servers and may forget to update their email address with the various boards that they are listed on. This is more likely if the guy is on several boards of course. A friend of mine had his computer trashed by a virus recently. He couldn't use it until he saved up enough money to get it fixed. The result was that he couldn't retrieve his emails from the site for a while.

 

Just a suggestion but I've taken to CALLING the phone number when one is listed. Once communication has been established, I then ASK the guy whether he prefers email or phone communication from that point on. This seems to work more reliably than just using the site provided email service.

Hey BGuy; prioritize......engage those escorts that you like, who have phone numbers and start with them first. The sound of an escort's voice is a pretty good indication of what you might expect. Follow up with phone and/or e-mail, as the escort wishes.

 

Although the rentboy site e-mail function might be fully automated and work flawlessly, there are dozens of reasons why someone doesn't get their e-mail in a timely fashion, or is unable to respond.

 

Does AOL bring anything to mind ?

 

And, of course, there's always the reason that the intended recipient of your e-mail is not interested and doesn't wish to convey that. Doesn't display a lot of integrity, but hell, you've read enough reviews and enough of these threads to know that for some of the escorts, customer service is not the paramount priority.

I think many listings on Men4Rentnow where there is no phone number listed are expired, and the emails are not forwarded unless they pay up.

 

This conclusion is based upon the extremely low percentage of responses when their phone number is not listed. i.e., I think they remove the phone number once the free period is over or they stop paying, but leave the ad up in a marketing attempt to resign the escorts.
