Anybody else have trouble with Grindr overloading your iphone?

A lot of times when I have Grindr open, my iphone noticeably heats up and Grindr starts running real slow.  Anybody else experience this?

no but leaving Grindr open drains my battery so maybe you're having battery issues causing it to heat up

Grindr absolutely kills my battery, that’s the biggest drawback of the app. Besides so many flakes on it.

I had the same problems with Instagram on my iPhone.

What model of iPhone are you running?

Good question. It did killed battery fast and slowed down my old iPhone SE. No problem on iPhone 13.

Exactly.

A cheaper or older model will have a tough time running newer, RAM intensive, power hungry apps.

Nature of the beast.  Tech is constant movement.
