White Lotus Returns

So it looks like they just hired Laura Dern and Jennifer Tilly. I find both actresses talented and interesting, so maybe this is turning into a positive.

I've never liked her really, but yet thought she was quite good in White's other series Enlightened and also Laura Dern is a natural fit for White Lotus. So, well done. 

Jennifer TIlly is so very very very very and VERY wealthy, and so very sexy in Bound, and well-used in "Relax It's Just Sex" (now that movie was a long long time ago, did that filmmaker, who also make Together Alone I think, make another movie afterward?), good on her for returning to Hollywood (I assume she's been gone).

I remember watching this series and thinking I liked it. I did not know White had anything to do with it, yet he was a character whose performance I enjoyed. What can I say?

I only know Jennifer Tilly from Bullets Over Broadway, one of my favorite films. I also know her from poker. She deserves a fabulous juicy part in something.

I don't usually pay any attention to Page Six, but they are the first to claim to know something. However, not much is revealed here. I expect Helena signed an NDA, but I hope she'll one day talk about what happened, from her perspective. It's not every day a star performer leaves a popular project, but there is never a guarantee that personalities won't clash. Helena is a strong, experienced woman, and Mike is Mike, quirky, with a bigger budget ego.

I wish Kitty would return.  But yeah, Laura Dern is great.  Need to watch Bullets Over Broadway (Jennifer Tilly).
