Agreed! Blockchain is a technology...crypto is a currency distributed on that technology platform.  Often confused by those that do not deal with it frequently.

Agree on both points.  But one of the drivers in value proposition for crypto is anonymity.  Without a value proposition, crypto has no inherent value.  Right?   Given the rise and fall of crypto with political upheaval in second rate economies and oversight on illegal activities, I’m suspecting that anonymity accounts for about 95% of its dubious investment value.

As this article clearly showed, anonymity of bitcoin transactions is a myth and the problem is inherent in the blockchain technology. As more people become aware and this, and more criminal cases are built by blockchain snooping, the end of bitcoin may be coming.
