"Angertainment" - Is this now a thing?

One of my social media friends talked that she now sees a lot of her friend showing anger and that it makes people laugh.

Is this a new way of entertaining our friends?

I think for some people it is.  Using social media as the primary form of communication has depersonalized interactions and provided more freedom to express stronger emotions than a person may do otherwise.  And it also provides ample opportunity for those who enjoy stirring the pot and then sitting back to enjoy the mayhem they have encouraged.  It seems that kindness has become harder to find in this new age of online relationships.
