I am sure this question has come up on our venerable message board before (is there anything that hasn't?), but what the heck. I have always been in favor of equal treatment of all of my clients, so I was curious: Escorts, do you give discounts when you get hired by a fellow escort? I'm not really looking to hire anyone, but it seems that some escorts I have talked to lately do seem to have rather strong opinions about charging a "colleague" for services rendered, errrr time spent.

Yes, this has been discussed before. Some escorts here have hired other escorts, to my knowledge, at least several have even written reviews. I know Talvin has at least two reviews by escorts, as one such example. Some escorts have indicated that while they freely discuss their hiring, they did not feel it appropriate to discuss whom they have hired or to submit a review while they themselves continue to escort. I think most everyone on here who is an escort has a sex life outside our clients, some have boyfriends, and this is either public knowlege, or others simple date. I also can think of a number of escorts, where clients wanted to do a duo (or more) and the escort suggested another escort they wanted to meet.

 

I have had sex with other men who escort and do other types of sex work, largely without any money changing hands. I do offer certain discounts, so if someone came to me, I would have no issue with offering something comparable. However, for the most part, what happens is that someone comes to me and says they would like to "hook up" in the parlance and, assuming the proposition interest me and the schedule is mutually convenient, I accept. For example, I met a great guy on a job together in Chicago last May (his client wanted a second escort, that is how the escort initially contacted me). After we were done with the client, he wanted to continue with a one on one, but I was tired and had an overnight the next day. I suggested we get together again on my last night in Chicago, assuming we were both free. While I got no sleep, we had a great time going out to dinner and, to be honest, mostly talking. We did have sex, but we spent about 8 hours together and most of that was talking about our lives and ambitions.

 

In Los Angeles, it is often easier to make such meetings happen. When I travel, I tend to focus on what I want to accomplish, which is generally sight seeing, meeting clients and keeping as typical a schedule as possible. I would not want to deprive a client of a quality experience by being tired or otherwise "drained" so, most of the time, if we cannot meet at the end of the trip, nothing happens.

 

On the other hand, I get body workers who offer to trade massages for sex; I have always paid for massage and that is what I prefer to do. I do have a few good friends in Los Angeles who have given me non-sexual massages and I have always paid them their going rate.

Maybe traveling escorts should label these exchanges as seminars or continuing education and collect a tax write-off for their expenses.
