Seen him. He looks great for his age as I’m sure he’s not 35. Gives a very relaxing massage, but it was purely therapeutic for me. Draping is entirely up to you. He was shirtless, but had shorts on. His upper body was very nice to look at.

Saw a new ad for Shane

http://rentmasseur.com/massagebySMW

is this the same Shane who used to live in Laguna and gave  superb massages about 12 years ago or so? Anyone seen him recently? PM if you prefer thank you

Yes, same Shane. Still gives a good massage, consistent with what others are reporting - purely therapeutic for me as well. $200 for 90 minutes at his home in HB.  He had been living in PSP the last few years and working in real estate. Agreed that he's not 35 - I'd guess add 10 years or so. I'd recommend.

Shane’s 46. It always boggles my mind why some advertisers try to shave 10+ yrs from their advertised age..

He still is sexy af and that personality and smile go a long long way esp as  he is a nice decent guy and gives a stellar massage

I never thought that I'd post with any 'negative' toward Shane, but I have to echo the negative now. The first visit or two were mainly positive. The massage itself was decent, but there was inconsistency in his pricing (he said something via text different than in-person), and he also 'accidentally' did a 60 minute session instead of a 90 minute session. He told me I should've told him on the spot (touche), but I was willing to overlook it all with his charm (he can be very kind).

Every subsequent visit got new price changes, but he was also more interactive and we got along great, and I came to really like him more and more, just as a person. I was seeing him regularly for about 6 months. I disappeared a bit for some responsibilities (I told him about it and we stayed in regular contact), and suddenly after one cancelled visit from his end (for a 'cold'), he started ghosting me entirely. I mean, we went from something to the effect of 'can't wait to see you' to zero. He wouldn't answer texts, wouldn't reply about rescheduling, but he answered someone that I recommended him to that same day. I sent him a message on rentmasseur asking if there's something that happened that I've misunderstood or if there's anything I did hat upset him, he read it and didn't reply. Sad things ended this way.

Clarifying the cancellation wasn't from my end

Sorry to hear this. I have never seen Shane, but I’ve had similar things happen with a couple other massage therapists.  You get along great, and have very interactive experiences over a period of time, then, for seemingly no reason at all, the vibe completely changes.

Hey all. Sorry for not replying to PM. I got probably 40 or so messages asking for details on Shane. He’s amazing and I’m a regular. Technique is one of the best I’ve had in my 10 plus years of getting sensual massages. He is pricier than most.

The erotic aspect of the massage was very memorable and that alone would have me coming back for more.

I think you can’t go wrong with him. I have sent some buddies to see him. They all have raved about his technique but YMMV.

Hello. Long time reader; first time poster.

Not to dump on Shane, but I thought I should share my experience. I value the honest posts and feedback on here, and I’ve benefitted greatly from y’all’s guidance on masseurs. It’s about time I paid it forward.

Unfortunately, I find myself in the camp of those blown off by Shane. I was in LA for a day a couple of weeks back. I decided to take the leap and book with Shane because of the positive feedback from those guys who had met him. I reached out a week in advance to schedule him, and we had a great chat exchange leading up to the day of the massage.

I flew into LA that morning and headed to the OC for some business meetings. I reconfirmed with him, and we were set to meet after my meetings. I finished my meetings early and texted Shane that I could meet 30 minutes earlier if he was available. That’s when it all unraveled.

He responded via text about 20 minutes before our appointment and said he was with another client and he would text me when finished. About 5 minutes before our appointment, he sent me a text, explaining that a client got aggressive with him, and he had to call the cops. He then asked to postpone our appointment. I told him I could postpone for about 30 minutes. Beyond that, I would have to cut my losses and head back to LAX airport.

To my surprise, he called me a few minutes later to apologize and ask if I could reschedule. He offered to comp the massage if I would reschedule. I reiterated to him that I was only in town for that day, and that I could wait 30 minutes for him to settle things. I asked him to keep me updated, and he agreed.

That was the last I ever heard from Shane. I sent him a couple texts later that evening but no response. My texts show “delivered” but not “read.”

I was completely bummed to miss him, but in the back of my mind I wasn’t too surprised. In all fairness, I had read the forums here, and I had been warned.

However, this is now the second bad experience I’ve had in CA (SD & LA) in the last four months. I’m beginning to think I’m cursed on the west coast. LOL

Thank you for sharing. I felt like I was weird or clingy or something wrong with me when it came to Shane, but this experience is similar to mine. Everything seemed great, as I shared in the thread - messaging was kind, friendly, joking. He even called me on the phone to tell me not to be so self-deprecating, so I thought things were awesome. Like you, the last appointment got blown off, but it wasn’t the first time. The thing is, I usually show up at appointments early, and one time he told me an excuse similar to yours, but he drove off in front of me (I had arrived 30 minutes early because I feared California traffic). The day of our last encounter when he cancelled because of some major thing going on, someone else messaged him after our call and showed me the messages, and he got booked for a time that was during our appointment. So much depends on his mood, i think, as well as what kind of money he might make from various people (he charges different people different amounts), as well as possible actual scheduling issues. It is what it is.
