I don't like doing that, but I realize for some travelers there is a risk of miscalculation that can blow their whole budget. I wired him the amount. Not 24 hours had passed when he informed me of a family emergency and had to cancel. He immediately transferred my money back to me. So he seems to be an upstanding guy.
