Beyond the sources some of us have provides in the past (please see the STD from Escorts thread, as well as the two threads about Syphilis elsewhere on the Message Center and whereever else they maybe), here is a great site to check out:

http://www.unspeakable.com/truth.jsp

You should note this site is funded by a drug company, Pfizer, Inc. but IMHO, the facts stated are objective and their branded drugs are not being pushed.

Having worked on a crisis line in college and always taken an interest in this field, it is one of the better sites, well designed and easy to navigate. In particular, the FAQ are great with a plethora of genuinely informative answers for both people who think they know it all (like me) and those of us who need all the help we can get (like me).

The site loads quickly and, while attractive, can probably be accessed even with a slow dial up modem as that is what I am on in the desert.

The references used, as someone who used to generate this list for patent applications, is very thorough. Unfortunately, this site provides no other links.

Two other good sites remain:

http://www.hookonline.org/res/health/stdguide.htm

for information specific to male escorts being hired by either men or women but it needs to be updated. This second site is a great storehouse of information about HIV:
