A tip, or gratuity, is a way of expressing gratitude for good service.Since all of the escorts I've hired have been with agencies, I know the gratuity is especially appreciated, being that they're only getting a portion of the total fee. But agency escort or not, I think a gratuity is in order if the escort provided the services agreed to.

What is really funny - or pathetic - depending on one's viewpoint is that the escort you are tipping probably does not declare all his imcome for tax purposes. Well your rate could have a great deal to do with the market you are working in. Your opinion of your own self-worth could also have a bearing on it. If you can keep your rate low, you'll get more business. You'll just have to work that much harder to make the same $$$.
