Boys, I need some advice on tipping. I will soon be spending a four day weekend with one of America's top escorts. Can anyone tell me, is there a standard formula or a customary percentage for a good tip for what I already know will be great time? Thx...PT:-)

RE: Tipping

If you are hiring (and paying) for 4 days he will collect a handsome fee. No tip is needed.

Being easy to get along with and well-bathed will make it nice for him.

No one that receives the amount of cash that the escort will for the four days gets tips.

The general advice given here is that an escort from an agency, as he would not receive the entire fee, should be tipped for doing his job well, or exceeding your expectations, or his promised performance. The converse would be so for an escort in business for himself. However, some clients believe that it is appropriate to tip an escort who exceeded your expectations and delivered what was promised and then some. This is simply and totally up to you.

In your instance, given a four day hire and the fact that you are anticipating a good outcome to your long weekend, if you come away genuinely satisfied and feel you enjoyed yourself, if feasible to your particular circumstance, I think the best tip of all would be to advise the escort -- as well as act on the suggestion -- that you intend to hire him again and/or recommend him to others. I consider this one of the biggest "tips" I ever personally receive.

I know I always add this to the general formula, which has been hashed and rehashed and well restated by DiS. above, but if you have been genuinely pleased, and if you are at all self employed or dependent on tips in anyway yourself, remember karma (or, in smaller English words, what goes around comes around).

Or, just listen to your inner heart and child - tip if it will make you feel happy to do so, and then don't have second thoughts about it - you did it to please yourself.

I agree with not tipping a self-employed escort and tipping an escort from an agency. In your particular situation where you'll have him for 4 days perhaps, if you feel that you had an exceptional experience, you could buy him a gift that you think he'll enjoy.

Thank you for your thanks. From your sitename I had worried a bit tht you were just someone dropping in long enough to stir up one of our long standing rowls, which might even (don't know - haven't checked) be in some kind of a FAQ link from the top of the page. But, no, you, sir, have proven yourself a gentleman and a scholar.

Not even a bad haircut and bags under your eyes from three days without sleep or any of the other imaginable woes can make you look bad, you sexy thang!

Hi Guys: No I'm not here to start a fuss! My handle comes from the fact that I travel for a living. That is why I asked the question. It may have been hashed and rehashed here before, but I have not been in on the conversation. Again I thank you for your time and thoughts...just passnthru:-)
