I am curious as to why so many escorts do not respond to e-mail. I am

fairly clear that there is a specific date I would like to set up. I don't think that there is any way they can think I am not a serious inquiry, but all too often there is not a reply. It's a shame because when this happens I never try that escort again. If he can't even answer an e-mail I write him off as unreliable.

Before anyone says, "maybe they are away or don't have access to a computer," the question comes up as to why give an e-mail address if you can't access it? When I travel there is an easy message that is sent back to anyone who e-mails me stating when I will be available to respond.

While I am on the subject - and venting - there are a few escorts that have no e-mail and give a phone number. The phone answers but there are no instructions as to what to do.... Because I am often calling from my business I can't leave a numeric number although I could leave a voice message.

Come on guys! If you want to be a professional, act as such.

That said, it's the guys that do respond and are responsive to what I say that get my business.

It's a puzzlement!

Hey there NP,

I would like to tackle your question.

I appreciate your frustration with unanswered emails it's just poor "Netiquette."

Why, I don't understand in this day and age some people not having an email address at all, I can, however, offer you some insight from the escort's perspective to "unknowingly unanswered" mail. Please bear in mind that is not an excuse. It can be summed up in one word: SPAM. Because I have a "published email address" my volume of Spam is much greater than most people's, it's in the neighborhood of 125 to 200 each day. I bet that most escorts have a similar situation. What determines whether or not an email is opened is dependent on these two criteria; 1) sender's email address and/or 2) the subject line. If someone sends me an email with a subject line titled "hi" or "great profile"- (and its from an unrecognized address) whereas a client might think it would get my attention I will assume that it is unsolicited and I will delete it unread, as in my experience this has been shown to be the case virtually all of the time. What I look for is "escort" or "escort services" or "booking request." Yes, even with those subject headers, some are Spam as well, BUT I need to "turn off the filter" somewhere and its a much more manageable volume to sort through.

If you have used subject headers that clearly indicate you are a potential client, looking to hire services and the email is left unanswered, I can only say that the escort is sorting too quickly though his email and needs to slow down.

I hope that I was able to give you a clearer understanding on how most escorts deal with their email.

All the best,

Rex Brant

Go to the commentary dated 3/8/02....HooBoy tells of a prgram called SPAM COP...and there are some other SPAM filters out there...look into it...it may be worth it...

Is there anyway you can state what you want us to put in the heading of e-mails that are sent your way - or any escort for that matter? I always state "Potential Client"...some repsond...some don't...

Truer words were never spoken...

N-

I experienced this problem a couple months back when I was planning a trip to NYC...I was amazed at how many escorts I never heard from...which is why I usually go thru an agency...but there are some high quality escorts out there who respond to every e-mail with courtesy...focus on them and screw the rest...no pun intended..:)

Hey guys,

I was reading this and I too get offended when someone doesn't respond to my emails. That is why when I built my sites in included the subject line to already appear w/ Adamlvescort+Request. That way I know where the email came from and I know that we are talking business. Hopefully other escorts will catch on because it is a handy thing to have and it does save alot of time and hassle. Just my 2 cents. :)

Hey Jon,

I look for "escort," "escort services" or "booking request." Sometimes if you are sending an email from a website, it may not go through, even though it appears as though it has. This happens more often then you may be aware of, this reason I also publish my phone number.

There may be a situation where the escort is not into the scene that the client may have outlined, however providing no response is rude and a quality escort will always reply, even if he is declining.

I have been in situations where clients have asked me to organize a large group (larger than my normal circle of guys that I prefer to work with, IE; Reece, Gino, Cole, Raul, Renn, Vince etc.) whereas I needed to contact escorts that I have not worked with before and sometimes even my emails are left unanswered (even with the return receipt feature- that is available from AOL to AOL email, turned on) and those are guys that I "write off", but those do not reflect the majority. I would also like to think that most escorts realize that this is the "ULTIMATE customer service" business.

Bottom line (no pun) is that the market is flooded with escorts at the moment, Most are great but some not so great, however it is the client who is in the driver's seat-it's ultimately the clients who will determine which escorts stay afloat. The clients have the luxury to be discriminating-it truly is a Buyer's Market!

All the best,

Emails/Pagers/Voice Mail

Rex Brant gave a better response than I could on the email so I will only underscore his responses; spam filters are never 100% and let's face it, some escorts are not really able to fill out forms on the free sites to get posted on Endowed Escorts or All American Male Escorts.

I have a Mac and am less likely to get a virus than escorts with windows computer, so I do read and look at emails which just say "HI" or "NICE PROFILE" but I also forward emails which are spam. I also answer every email even if I cannot work with the client. In fact, some prospective clients have told their friends about me because the friend was a more suitable match up with me. And they did this in two instances because not only did I respond to the prospect, I answered his question, gave one a link to an escort he hired and arranged to have another escort contact the second one. One guy commented that he was surprised I was spending all that time but I explained to him that these escorts refer clients to me all the time. They are both versatile leaning bottom. One is totally naturally smooth. He refers the clients who want to be "pounded" or who like chest hair to me and everyone leaves satisfied. We treat each other very much as a family, including the clients.

Now as to the phone numbers, there are several possibilities but all bespeak of bad phone manners. Pagers are not good for businessmen calling from offices, pay phones or who want more discretion. I return every page, even long distance numbers. But I know someone calling from a hotel room cannot leave a sufficiently good call back number. Most pagers now come with numeric page AND voice mail capability and no escort without a voice mail can genuinely be responsive. Cell phones are different issues, as they may require personal information, social security numbers, credit cards, etc. But if the escort has a cell phone, all calls should be returned promptly.
