"GUYS AND DOLLS" revival on Broadway

Has anyone seen the revival of "Guys and Dolls," which began previews last week (at over 90% of capacity)? What's the word?

That'll teach me to type before I have had my coffee. I hope that guys and Dolls succeeds, but it is not looking too good. I have tickets for West Side Story, so I guess that I am betting my money on that!

What have you heard about "Guys and Dolls" other than the post here?

 

I don't understand how a show with its great book and score can flop. But who knows?

The son worked on props on a two-week gig during the loadin. He wasn't sure it will last very long.

As an alternative musical, I highly recommend "The Story Of My Life," a charming, tender and warm musical story of two lifelong friends. Terrific music by Neil Bartram and Will Chase and Malcolm Gets are wonderful in the lead roles.
