Spas in NYC

He’s chinese. Had him once and he said he’s from China. And no six pack abs.

Jeff at 123 Allen st yeah man spa is very nice, he is a tall Chinese (I believe ) and has a beautiful body (not ripped but very athletic ). The massages I had with him have always been good technically but barely sensual. Chen is still the master of the house . He is skinny but strong and can provide a great experience.

Jeff is 100% chinese. I have seen him two times. He does not have any 6 packs. very very regular body. should be in 30s..

But he gave me super solid clean massage. I think that was the best massage I ever got. I was > 100% satisfied.

Does anyone have an actual (but legit) review of “Hush” spa in Manhattan. All these people claim to have been there but once you PM them for details, it becomes “I haven’t been there recently, but, blah blah blah.”

There's a real easy way get a current actual review and save reading another 'blah blah blah" post: Go yourself.

P.S. People may not have gone recently because there's a GLOBAL PANDEMIC but still were nice enough to share the info they had.

Anyone else having a hard time getting to a spa because of the WFH world we live in? I used to be able to say I was “working late” or maybe head out for a long lunch but now I’m tethered at home with my spouse and I can’t get an excuse to sneak away to a spa. Man do I need one.

Is your office open at all during this time? A few months ago I started going in to my office about once a week just to get some alone time (and focus better and have a "more professional" zoom backdrop etc). After a few weeks I started scheduling a massage during that "office time" and now I go weekly. Spouse assumes I'm at the office all day :).

Just reporting I went to Shangri La for the first time tonight and had Alex. He's very kind and hot, amazing body. G-rated massage but I loved being touched by him. Really good massage.

I had Alex at Shangrila today and he is indeed 100% g rated, but a good massage!

Yes, definitely! I have been able to extend some time on an outing or two but overall it has been very difficult to get away for a massage. Once, I took a trip to see family. I said I was coming home a day later than I really was and I booked a hotel for a night in my own city. I met an escort that night and got a massage the next day before heading home for real. lol And one day, my husband had to go to work because his laptop died and his IT needed him to bring it in. That was a fun day for me. haha

Had the worst experience at why not men’s tonight I went for manicure pedicure and 60 minute massage package. I had one guy do my pedicure, and start my manicure halfway through another guy finished my manicure and then another gentleman did my massage. Three separate guys, now just for the sake of Covid wouldn’t it be just a little bit wiser for them to minimize contact and just have one person perform all services? That was a little bit bothersome to me but considering I am willingly going to a Men’s spa while‘s Covid is still on the rise I can’t complain too much. Now onto the massage with every employee I came in contact with assuming they were going to be the one administer my massage from the beginning I mentioned that I wanted it to be a hot stone massage. (I had been thinking about it all day and I specifically went to why not because they offer hot stone lol ) The massage was incredibly mediocre he asked what kind of pressure I liked said I wanted hard it was some light rubbing at best when I asked for more pressure there is a bit more pressure for the following 30 seconds then went back to what he started with - now obviously knowing that I wanted a hot stone massage I just kept waiting for it and waiting for it and waiting for it then getting pretty annoyed about it because 45 minutes in I was sure it wasn’t gonna happen but then the masseuse leaves and comes back with the stones he rubs them on my back and I’m not exaggerating but for literally 45 seconds at most I was fuming. I flip over and he starts to massage my arms only as what can be described as squeezing up and down my arms lol — he tried to leave me happy but I was not interested in any of that. As I left I told the gentleman at the front desk who is also the one who finished my manicure, that I didn’t receive the hot stone massage that I had desired from the beginning my appointment they offered to give me a free 10 minutes of hot stone massage... I declined they took $10 off my $90 tab - I gave them the 80 bucks and left. Not a happy camper.

Sorry for your disappointing massage experience. Was $90 your total tab for the manicure, pedicure & one-hour massage? If so, it was a bargain. Did the 3 separate workers wear masks while working on you?

Yes that was the price for all three with the package they are running. Definitely a great price. Yes all three wore a mask and as did I.
