INTERESTING START TO NEW YEAR

A few of the threads that have been begun this year accusing multiple personality disorders in some members have nudged me into paying more attention to some of what goes on around here. I have not been as frequent a reader and poster as I have in the past.

Some of the above mentioned threads reminded me of species that eat their young.

Last night I put a bump on a thread in the escort travel forum. That thread got bumped within a minute by a colloquy between another escort and some of his fans(?). Yet today, all of those responses on the other thread are gone. Not edited, Just flat out gone, to be replaced by a totally new thread posted some hours later with no replies.

 

Now with all of the accusations going on around here about multiple personalities, I am trying to figure out what other justification there could be for at least three responses from three different people disappearing on one thread. Just curious and of course it's none of my business, but I did find it interesting. All of the posters referred to were charter members.

 

Anyway, it's a bit like feeling like Alice must have felt. Curiouser and curiouser.

I can't say for sure, but we DID receive an alert on a thread in that forum yesterday. That could have led to a general cleanup by whoever handled it.

Thanks for the reply. After spending the whole day with no responses, I was wondering if I should have taken some meds or something.

In another thread you mentioned that escorts are allowed other handles as long as they aren't abused. That explained the issue for me pretty well and was pretty much what I thought.

I am finding this SOAP OPERA about ALTER-EGOS rather silly. When I first came on this site, I was accused by 3 people of being someone else. It took me a while to figure out what this was about. Sorry I am just "pegasian," you can find my pix under some gay ads posted on-line. I joined this site because I found the discussions I read very entertaining. Now there is a witch-hunt going on trying to "out" the duality of some players. Don't people sometimes need this duality? I would miss Rick Munroe if he got run off this site. I always enjoy his posts and wish he wasn't a LAZY ASS about his own Blog-site. However, don't you think SOMETIMES he would like to chat just as a normal guy and not as a LOVE GOD product for sale? The John wears a mask to find sex.... maybe the sex-worker needs to wear a mask to find simple humanity? To the people trying to OUT all the secret identities... are you willing to post YOUR REAL NAME, PICTURE, HOME ADDRESS and TEL# on THIS SITE? If you are not then you do NOT have the right to ask more from others. I think you have to re-set your mind-set on this site. You are NOT reading the Bible here...this is more the NATIONAL ENQUIRER. The only FAITH you should invest in it is that it can be entertaining and just sometimes serious.

Well, thanks for your input. My post was really about a disappearing thread and mentioned no escort by name. So who is hunting? Are you saying that I was talking about a certain escort. How would you know that?

I was just trying to verify something I already thought.

You did that for me. I wasn't trying to start anything.

I just think the environment is a bit "heavy" because of some of the other threads.

 

For what happened to have happened would require and admin or moderator action. I apologize if my asking the question put you in a bad place. You know the personal regard I have for you.
